Visit of Deputy Minister of Traditional Medicine of India and accompanying delegation from Iran National Botanic Garden
According to the Public Relations Department of the Institute of Forest and Rangeland Research, on Monday, May 28, 2011, Dr. Chandra Kotcha, the Deputy Minister of Traditional Medicine of India and the delegation accompanying the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of our country from the National Botanical Garden Iran visited.
Traditional medicine in India is one of the few thousand years old medical schools in the world that helps to treat diseases and prevent diseases through lifestyle modifications, diet changes and with the help of medicinal herbs. The Ministry of Traditional Indian Medicine (AYUSH) started the 2014 government as an independent ministry. Earlier, traditional medicine affairs at the Department of Traditional Medicine were conducted under the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Indian Family. The Ministry of Traditional Medicine is responsible for teaching, researching, presenting and evaluating traditional medicine services in India.
Mr. Hossein Sadegh Talebi, Mr. Samadi, Mr. Samadi, Mr. Mohammad Khodaei, Mr. Alizadeh and Mr. Saremi, paid a visit to Indian guests and presented various parts of the garden to them.
