Goals and tasks

  1. Promotion of new methods for the management of pests and diseases in forest and rangeland areas.
  2. Evaluation and comparison of different varieties of forest and pasture host plants in terms of resistance to pests and pathogens.
  3. Investigating the challenge of environmental pollutants and their consequences on fauna and flora of forests and pastures of the country.
  4. Investigation of imported wood in terms of quarantine pests.
  5. Management of management methods for forecasting, controlling and reducing the fire of fires in the country's forests.
  6. Monitoring, Identification and Study of Biology and Ecology of Pests and Vegetation Diseases in Forests and Rangelands of the Country.
  7. Isolation and identification of mycorrhiza, rhizobium and other microorganisms stimulating the growth of plant species in the forests and rangelands.
  8. Collection, identification and evaluation of forest macroscopic fungi compounds with therapeutic properties.
  9. Maintaining diversity and balance in forests and rangelands associated with the work of the Conservation and Protection Research Group.
  10. Identification of pests and pathogens of unproductive trees in urban green space and providing management strategies against them.
  11. Identifying and studying the useful insect biology (manure and gulls) for the economic benefit of them.
  12. Identification, Classification and Study of Biology and Ecology of Insects and Biocontrol Microorganisms for Non-Chemical Management of Pests and Pathogenic Factors in Forests and Rangelands.
  13. Identification, study of biology and ecology and management of pests and pathogens of medicinal plants.
